Hi, I’m J Hector, a Seventh-day Adventist, writer, researcher, and educator with a passion for exploring the intersections of history, culture, and identity. I’m fascinated by the stories of people who have shaped and been shaped by the world we live in, especially those who have often been overlooked or marginalized.

I was born in Haiti but moved to America when I was young. I grew up in New Jersey, where I witnessed the diversity and dynamism of this country firsthand. 

In my writings, I try to capture the essence of what it means to be Christian, a term coined to describe the people who follow the Creator and Savior JESUS CHRIST.

I currently live in S. America, and I enjoy sharing my knowledge and experience with my peers, family, and friends as well as learning from them.
